Description
The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA), Forest Service (USFS) is seeking quotes for Fuel Tenders to support fire suppression, all-hazard incidents, and prescribed fire project work in Regions 1, 2, and 4. The contract will be awarded to responsible quoters whose quotes conform to the solicitation and are advantageous to the Government, considering price and other factors. The contractor will be responsible for providing all equipment, materials, supplies, transportation, lodging, and personnel necessary to meet or exceed agreement specifications.
• The contractor must maintain a valid email address for all VIPR communications and possess a valid Unique Entity ID (UEI) obtainable at no cost through the System for Award Management (SAM).
• The contractor must have a Login.gov account to conduct official electronic business transactions and create a VIPR Next Gen account.
• The contractor must submit quotes electronically using the VIPR Next Gen Vendor Application.
• The contractor must comply with the 2:1 work/rest ratio as outlined in the NWCG Standards for Interagency Incident Business Management (Work/Rest Guidelines).
• The contractor must provide a minimum of eight pictures/files of the Fuel Tender, including four pictures of the entire vehicle, one picture of the manufacturer's vehicle data plate with VIN, and pictures of the manufacturer's rated tank capacities and certified meters.
