Replacing obsolete lubrication system 1247D Ro-Flo compressors

The NASA Langley Research Center has a requirement for replacing obsolete lubrication systems on Ro-Flo 23D rotary sliding vane compressors. The contractor will provide complete, modern, direct-replacement hardware packages, including multi-feed lubrication pump packages, drive sheaves, inline fluid flow alert switches, and bulk fluid storage assemblies. The contractor will also provide on-site installation support and comprehensive documentation. The work will be performed at the NASA Langley Research Center Hypersonic / Supersonic Test Facility in Hampton, VA, between July 1, 2026, and December 31, 2026. Key aspects of the job include: • Providing a complete, modern, direct-replacement hardware package • Supplying eight multi-feed lubrication pump packages and eight high-precision drive sheaves • Providing a complete set of inline-style fluid flow alert switches and four 5-gallon overhead lubricant supply tanks • Ensuring all hardware is fully compatible with the specified lubricant and operating conditions • Providing comprehensive installation kits and on-site installation support
