The Town of Munster is seeking a qualified contractor to provide comprehensive tree‑service work, including removal, stump grinding, pruning, and debris removal, on a 24/7 emergency‑response basis. The contract covers the remainder of 2026 and the full calendar year of 2027, with the possibility of annual renewal. Bids must be submitted sealed by 1 p.m. on 23 Oct 2026, and the contractor must be able to respond to emergency calls within two hours, maintain required insurance and bonding, and comply with ANSI A‑300 and Z133.1 standards.
• Scope includes per‑tree removal (priced by DBH), per‑stump grinding, hourly crew rates for pruning and debris removal, and emergency multipliers.
• Contractor must own/operate a 45‑ft bucket truck, a chipper capable of ≥12‑in. diameters, and maintain a qualified crew (minimum 3‑person for pruning, 2‑person for debris).
