Maintenance, Replacement, & Repairs for Waste Flares Systems

The City of Austin is seeking a contractor to provide maintenance, replacement, and repairs for three waste gas flares at the Hornsby Bend Biosolids Management Plant. The contractor will be responsible for providing all labor, materials, and equipment necessary for the proper execution of the maintenance, replacement, inspection, repairs, and operation of the portable combustion unit. The contract will be for a period of 150 days, with the option for extension. The contractor must have a minimum of 10 years of experience in inspecting, repairing, and testing waste gas flare systems and must provide a list of current client references. • The contractor must provide inspection reports in accordance with OSHA and ASME standards. • The contractor must perform annual inspections and maintenance for each flare to ensure effective combustion. • The contractor must provide technicians to visit the site and commission the upgraded control panels. • The contractor must provide a written report for each unit inspected and/or tuned, including a detailed summary of inspection/test findings.
