XQ1845385 MOD/INSTALL/RECON of Traffic Signals in Montgomery and Prince George's Counties - Areawide

The project involves individual work assignments for the installation, modification, and/or reconstruction of new or existing traffic signals on interstate, state, and local roads in Montgomery and Prince George's Counties. Assignments may include the installation of signal structures, controller cabinets, UPS, LED signals indications, Accessible Pedestrian Signals (APS), Countdown Pedestrian Signals (CPS), ADA ramp and sidewalk upgrades, intersection lighting, signs, cameras, and/or loops for detection, minor geometrics, pavement markings, and miscellaneous traffic control devices. The contract will be awarded for a project cost class of E, with an estimated cost between $2,500,000 and $5,000,000. • The project locations will be identified after the project is awarded. • Each task will indicate the scope, limit of work, the estimated quantities, and completion duration limits. • The successful bidder will be required to supply Payment and Performance Bonds for all Contracts in excess of $100,000.00. • Minority/Disadvantaged business enterprises are encouraged to respond to this solicitation.
