RE-ADVERTISEMENT - Landfill New Scale Project

The County of Moore is seeking bids for the construction of a new scale plaza project at the Aberdeen Landfill. The project includes the construction of a 422 square-foot scale control building, a new above-ground electronic truck scale, relocation of an existing electronic scale, asphalt paving, concrete paving, and erosion control measures. The project has an expected duration of 210 days. • The project requires a mandatory pre-bid conference and site visit. • The bid security must be in the form of cash, cashier's check, or bid bond. • The contract will be awarded to the lowest responsible and eligible bidder. • The project includes various technical specifications for the truck scale, load cells, and digital instrumentation. • The contractor must ensure that the scale is NTEP certified and meets the requirements of the NIST Handbook 44. • The contractor must also ensure that the scale is installed and tested according to the manufacturer's specifications and the requirements of the project.
