FFPSA - Sole Source

The Colorado Department of Human Services is seeking a sole source contract with Lyssn Learn & Practice to provide a comprehensive training and fidelity monitoring system for Motivational Interviewing (MI) skills. The system will be used by 200 child welfare staff to meet the requirements of the Family First Prevention Services Act (FFPSA). Lyssn's platform provides immediate feedback to participants and performance metrics to management, and is the only technology-based fidelity monitoring system for MI on the market. The contract term is one year, from December 2025 to December 2026, and the total cost is $141,680. Some key features of the Lyssn platform include: • Comprehensive MI skill training through 5 structured modules • Real-time skill-based evaluation with immediate feedback and unlimited practice opportunities • Agency dashboards showing employee progress and skill development • Data visualizations of specific skill gaps to inform targeted booster training • Multiple unique MI skill demonstration opportunities to enable assessment of skill competency without the burden of recording real or role-played client interactions
