SCHOOL RENOVATION

The Grand Rapids Public Schools is seeking bids for the renovation of Alger School. The project requires bidders to have at least 5 years of experience in work of this type and scope. The bidder must also have a license where required by public authorities having jurisdiction, ample financial resources, and provide bid security or bid bond in an amount not less than 5% of the bid amount. The bidder may be required to secure Performance, Labor, and Material bonds for contracts exceeding $50,000. • The bid documents can be examined at the Owen-Ames-Kimball Co. website or at Builders Exchange plan rooms in Grand Rapids, Kalamazoo, Lansing, and Traverse City. • A construction pre-bid meeting will be held at Alger School on Tuesday, April 14th, at 3:00pm local time. • Bids must be accompanied by a sworn and notarized Familial Disclosure Statement. • The bidder must include additional documentation such as a Sworn Statement of Familial Relationship, Iran Business Relationship Affidavit, Debarment & Suspension Certification, and a Non-Collusive Affidavit.
