The State of Missouri’s Department of Corrections, via Missouri Vocational Enterprises, is seeking competitive sealed proposals to supply hardwood lumber to multiple correctional facilities and a distribution center across the state. The contract will run for one year from award, with an estimated annual spend of roughly $150‑$300 K based on historical purchasing. Vendors must be registered in MissouriBUYS, provide a full suite of compliance exhibits (Buy‑American, veteran preferences, tax compliance, etc.), and deliver lumber FOB Destination to specified addresses within 30 days of order receipt. Pricing must be submitted on Exhibit B, and invoices are to be filed weekly with payment due within 30 days of receipt. The solicitation includes strict inspection, substitution, and replacement requirements, as well as security clearances for delivery drivers.
