Notice of Intent - Sole Source - Firing Range Services

The U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) intends to award a sole source contract for Firing Range Services to the City of Donna. The City of Donna has its own firing range, El Indio Gun Range, which meets all the requirements of the Government. The range can accommodate 1,700 personnel for mandatory quarterly firearms qualifications, is available 24/7, and supports Lethal and Non-Lethal training. The range is exclusively for Law Enforcement Officers only and is approximately 15 to 20 miles from most station locations. Key features of the firing range include: • Accommodates 1,700 personnel for mandatory quarterly firearms qualifications • Available on a 24-hour basis/7-days a week • Meets night-time shooting requirement qualification • Adaptable to CBP’s different ranges of weapons for targets and qualifications shooting • Supports Lethal and Non-Lethal training • Exclusively for Law Enforcement Officers only • Approximately 15 to 20 miles from most station locations
