The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Carderock Division (NSWCCD) is establishing a multi‑award, unpriced Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) for Advanced Clustering Technologies (ACT) high‑performance computing (HPC) clusters. The BPA will span a five‑year ordering period and cover the procurement of brand‑name ACT hardware, installation, training, and a minimum five‑year warranty/maintenance. The solution must meet strict hardware, software, and networking specifications (EIA‑310/Open Rack, specific Intel/AMD processors, Red Hat Enterprise Linux, InfiniBand NDR, etc.) and integrate with existing NSWCCD HPC infrastructure, Active Directory, and proprietary ACT management tools. The Government seeks firms capable of delivering complete, turn‑key HPC clusters, including cabinet enclosures, management appliances, login nodes, compute nodes, scratch and cold storage servers, and supporting networking (10 Gb Ethernet, InfiniBand).
• Scope: Supply, install, configure, and maintain ACT brand HPC clusters (hardware & software).
• Duration: 5‑year ordering period (60 months) with at least 5 years of warranty/maintenance per order.
• Technical requirements: Specific processor models, memory, storage, networking, OS (RHEL 9+), Slurm scheduler, ACT management suite, remote iKVM, and integration with Windows AD.
• Services: Installation, on‑site training, preventive maintenance, and warranty support.
• Funding: Approximate total acquisition value not disclosed but expected to be multi‑million dollars.
