Description
The opportunity is for specialized corrosion control, prevention, and treatment services for military vehicles and equipment stationed at Andersen Air Force Base, Guam. The contractor will be responsible for providing a skilled labor force to meet contract requirements, including all personnel, supplies, facilities, transportation, tools, materials, supervision, and other non-personal services necessary for vehicle and equipment corrosion control, rustproofing, and painting. The contractor will also be required to provide a Quality Control Plan and to submit various deliverables, including status reports and a quality control plan. The contract is expected to last for approximately two years, with a possible extension.
• The contractor will be responsible for transporting, washing, repainting, and applying corrosion-control to listed equipment.
• The contractor will be required to inspect and remove all corrosion, apply corrosion inhibiting primer, and repaint and rustproof all surfaces.
• The contractor will be required to provide a one-year warranty period on all workmanship.
• The contractor will be required to submit digital images capturing the vehicle repair progress.
