Description
The Macon County Board of Commissioners is soliciting sealed bids from qualified contractors for excavation, segregation, loading, transportation, and disposal of legacy municipal solid waste and waste-impacted soils encountered during the construction of the Macon County EMS Facility. The project includes the excavation, segregation, and disposal of waste at the facility located at 736 HWY 26, Oglethorpe, Georgia.
• The bid specifications can be obtained at the Commissioner’s Office or by contacting the office.
• A mandatory pre-bid conference is scheduled for July 15, 2026.
• Bids must be submitted by 10:00 a.m. on July 24, 2026.
• The Macon County Board of Commissioners reserves the right to waive any and all informalities, to reject any and all bids, and to disregard all nonconforming, nonresponsive, unbalanced, or conditioned bids.
