Description

The National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) is seeking information from sources that may be capable of providing a high-speed lock-in/servo system to support the NOAC Photonic ac-dc Thermal Transfer Standard (PTTS) project. The system must meet specific minimum specifications, including at least 4 analog inputs with a bandwidth of at least 600 MHz, a sampling rate of at least 1 GSa/s per channel, and an ADC resolution of at least 10-bit. The system should also have at least 4 analog output channels, a lock-in amplifier, arbitrary waveform generator, oscilloscope, frequency response analyzer, and other features. • The high-speed lock-in/servo system is essential for enabling scalable and practical solutions for next-generation ac-dc difference metrology. • The system must meet the specified minimum specifications to ensure the accuracy and stability needed for the project. • The procurement is considered NIST-mission-critical, and timely acquisition is essential to ensure technical objectives are met. • The Government intends to issue a Sole Source Award to Liquid Instruments Inc. if no alternate sources are identified.

Budget estimate

$100,000 – $500,000

The budget for this opportunity is difficult to estimate, as the document does not provide a specific budget or price range. However, based on the complexity and specificity of the high-speed lock-in/servo system, it is likely that the budget will be in the range of $100,000 to $500,000. This estimate is influenced by the fact that the system is a critical component of the NOAC Photonic ac-dc Thermal Transfer Standard project, and the Government is willing to issue a Sole Source Award to a specific company if no alternate sources are identified.
