The City of Columbus Power Division is seeking to purchase, install, and train a new mobile LED light plant. The light plant must meet or exceed the specifications of a Generac MLT4060, with a minimum of four light fixtures capable of 188,000 lumens, powered by a 3-cylinder Kubota diesel engine, and have a self-contained fuel tank with electric priming lift pump. The successful bidder will be required to deliver the unit to 3568 Indianola Ave, Columbus, OH 43214, and provide on-site installation and training. A detailed attachment identifying the manufacturer, model name, and number of the equipment offered is required. • The light plant shall meet or exceed the specifications of a Generac MLT4060 • The light plant shall be LED with a minimum of four light fixtures capable of 188,000 lumens • The light plant shall be powered by a 3-cylinder Kubota diesel engine • The light plant shall have a self-contained fuel tank with electric priming lift pump • Operating sound shall be a maximum of 68dB @ 23FT • Generator and engine enclosure shall be constructed from heavy-duty 14-gauge steel • The enclosure shall be painted with white UV and fade-resistant polyester powder paint • The light plant shall have a brushless 120/240 VAC generator • The electrical system shall have one 12v battery with a minimum of 440CCA • The unit shall have one 120 VAC, 20 amp, GFCI duplex outlet • The unit shall have one 120/240 V, 30 amp twist lock outlet • The LED lights shall have separate individual breakers and on/off switches • The light mast shall raise and lower via toggle switch • The engine must have an automatic shutdown if triggered by low oil pressure or high engine temperature • The unit shall include an hour meter • The trailer for the unit shall be a steel frame with a 2,200 capacity leaf spring suspension • The trailer shall include four leveling jacks, one on each corner of the trailer • The trailer shall include side outriggers for stabilization up to 65MPH winds • The trailer shall have LED side, brake, and directional lighting • The trailer tires shall be ST175/80R13 • The trailer shall include a 3” pintle eye coupler with safety chains • The trailer light plug shall be a 7 Pin DOT round • The light controller shall be programmable to include dusk to dawn function and seven-day scheduler to automatically shut down and start each day • The factory warranty shall be a minimum of 1 year.
