Request for Letters of Interest - Conover Blvd Sidewalk PE & Design

The City of Conover is seeking a qualified firm to provide professional consulting services for the preliminary engineering and design of additional sidewalk along Conover Blvd E. The project aims to connect the existing walking trail in City Park to the sidewalk in front of Smurfit Westrock along Conover Blvd. The selected firm will be responsible for utility relocation and coordination, preparation of right of way plans, and preparation of construction contract proposal and estimates. • The project requires the firm to have experience in similar projects and a team with the necessary qualifications and expertise. • The firm must be pre-qualified by the North Carolina Department of Transportation to perform the required discipline codes. • The project has a proposed contract time of 360 days and a lump sum payment type. • The firm must submit a letter of interest, including information on their team qualifications, experience, and technical approach.
