FY26 Street Resurfacing Project

The City of Palo Alto is seeking bids for the FY26 Street Resurfacing Project. The project involves providing asphalt concrete milling, placing asphalt concrete overlay, asphalt concrete pavement repair and replacement, and other related work. The project is expected to commence on or about 2026 and be completed within 120 calendar days. The City is looking for a contractor with experience in street resurfacing and repair work. The contractor will be required to comply with all applicable laws, regulations, and city policies. Some key aspects of the project include: • Providing asphalt concrete milling and overlay • Repairing and replacing damaged sidewalks, curbs, and gutters • Installing curb ramps and truncated domes • Performing bridge repairs and tree trimming • Providing traffic control and crack sealing • Conducting surveying and striping • Lowering manholes and raising them back to grade after paving The City will evaluate bids based on the lowest responsible bidder, and the contract will be awarded to the bidder who meets the requirements and has the necessary experience and qualifications.
