Description
The US Air Force is soliciting quotes for a timber sale at Eglin Air Force Base, FL. The contractor will be responsible for removing approximately 5,895 tons of pine timber from 286 acres. The contract will be awarded on a firm-fixed price basis, with the winning bidder paying 100% of the bid price at the start of the contract. The performance period will be 365 days.
• The contractor must provide all management, tools, supplies, transportation, equipment, and labor necessary for the timber removal services.
• The contractor must comply with the attached Statement of Work (SOW) and maps.
• The contractor must provide evidence of general liability and property damage liability insurance with a minimum of $1 million in coverage.
• The contractor must schedule and attend a conference and contract signing with the Government no later than 14 calendar days upon award notification.
