Environmental Soil and Groundwater Remediation IDQ FY26

The City of Norfolk is seeking a qualified contractor to provide soil and groundwater remediation services at various locations around the city. The work will include excavation and disposal of contaminated material, verification of the extents of contaminated material, and replacement of material with suitable import material. The contractor will also be responsible for maintaining traffic control, providing temporary utilities, and controlling soil erosion and sediment. The contractor must comply with all applicable regulations, including the Virginia Stormwater Management Handbook and the Virginia Erosion and Sediment Control Handbook. • The contractor must have experience with soil and groundwater remediation • The contractor must be able to maintain traffic control and provide temporary utilities • The contractor must be able to control soil erosion and sediment • The contractor must comply with all applicable regulations • The contractor must be able to work in a team environment and communicate effectively with the City of Norfolk and other stakeholders
