P25-0851 Torula Yeast

The California Department of Food & Agriculture is seeking a supplier to provide 40,000 pounds of inactive dried Torula Yeast (food grade) in either 25 or 50 lb bags. The yeast must meet specific product specifications, including ash, bacterial count, coliforms, color, moisture, mold count, protein, and salmonella levels. The successful bidder will be required to provide a detailed price quote on company letterhead, including freight, shipping, and handling charges. The contract will be awarded based on the "All or None" principle, and the State reserves the right to reject any or all bids. • The supplier must provide a commercially useful function, as defined in Government Code Section 14837(d)(4). • The supplier must comply with the non-discrimination program requirements of Government Code 12990 and Title 2, California Administrative Code Section 8103. • The supplier must provide a Bidder Declaration form, including information on subcontractors and California certified small businesses. • The supplier must comply with the California Prompt Payment Act, Government Code Section 927 et seq.
