Description
The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Technology Acquisition Center (TAC), is hosting an Information Technology Advanced Planning Brief to Industry (IT APBI) hybrid event on June 17, 2026. The purpose of the APBI is to offer informative briefing sessions addressing Agency acquisition and IT transformation initiatives and objectives. The event will feature several briefing sessions with VA leadership, including Mr. Phillip Christy, Chief Acquisition Officer and Principal Executive Director, Office of Acquisition, Logistics and Construction, and Mr. Zachary Schwartz, Principal Deputy Assistant Secretary for Information and Technology.
• The event will be held at Dewberry Hall, George Mason University, in Fairfax, VA.
• There is no cost to attend the event or view the live video stream, but pre-registration is required.
• Registration is limited to two attendees per company for in-person attendance, and the Webex platform is limited to 3,000 attendees for the live stream.
