Computing Assets and White Space Infrastructure Advanced SI/AI and HPC Computing Infrastructure • Up to 5 MW IT Load

Empire AI Consortium, Inc. seeks information on accelerator-based AI/HPC computing systems (up to 5 MW IT load) and the supporting white space infrastructure (cooling distribution, flywheel UPS, 480 V distribution) for the Gamma phase of the Empire AI Research Computing Center at the University at Buffalo, Amherst, NY. The anticipated program budget is approximately $160 million across two tranches. This RFI is not a solicitation, and no contract will be awarded from it. Responses are invited from manufacturers, OEMs, resellers, and system integrators. No pre-qualification is required. Subcontracting, teaming, and joint venture arrangements are permitted. NYS MWBE/SDVOB goals (16% MBE, 14% WBE, 6% SDVOB) apply to the white space portion only.
