Request for Information/Sources Sought Notice for 15 ksi Cryogenic Vessel

NASA's Stennis Space Center is seeking information from qualified vendors capable of designing and fabricating a high-pressure, vacuum-jacketed cryogenic vessel. The vessel should be suitable for liquid oxygen, liquid hydrogen, and/or liquid methane service, with a maximum allowable working pressure of 15,000 psig and a minimum volume of 500 gallons. The vessel must meet ASME Code requirements and include vacuum insulation, diffuser, and anti-vortex device. Vendors should provide a capability statement, similar past project experience, ASME certifications, in-house testing capability, ROM cost and schedule, and any exceptions requiring clarification. • The vessel must be ASME Code rated and meet specific construction requirements. • The vessel must include vacuum insulation, diffuser, and anti-vortex device. • The vendor must provide a capability statement and similar past project experience. • The vendor must have ASME certifications and in-house testing capability. • The vendor must provide a ROM cost and schedule.
