Description
The City of Laguna Hills is inviting sealed bids for the Moulton Parkway and Mandeville Drive Project, CIP 303. The project involves public works construction, including unclassified excavation, tree and root removal, asphalt removal, asphalt concrete pavement construction, removal and replacement of decorative concrete paving, signing, striping, and other miscellaneous improvements. The project requires a Class A Contractor's License or a combination of Class C Contractor's Licenses. The wage rates applicable to this project are the State of California Department of Industrial Relations prevailing rates of per diem wages.
• The project includes removal of existing decorative concrete paving, median curb, and 12" thick existing AC and base.
• The contractor shall construct 12" deep lift AC, connect to and extend irrigation sleeves, and relocate monument and footing.
• The project requires compliance with prevailing wage rates, workers' compensation, and other labor laws.
• The contractor must submit a proposal guarantee consisting of cash, cashier's check, certified check, or bid bond payable to the City in the minimum amount of 10% of the total amount bid.
• The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any informality in a bid.
