The Chittenden County Regional Planning Commission, in partnership with the City of South Burlington, seeks a qualified consulting team to develop a comprehensive, implementation‑focused Center Plan for the Shelburne Road corridor. The effort will create a community‑driven vision and detailed design framework that transforms the study area into a vibrant, mixed‑use neighborhood with enhanced public spaces, multimodal transportation, and new housing opportunities. The contract is funded at up to $200,000, split across two fiscal years, and requires data analysis, public engagement, land‑use planning, transportation modeling, historic resource assessment, and a full implementation strategy.
• Develop an existing‑conditions report and historic resources assessment.
• Produce a community‑vision statement, conceptual design, and preferred concept plan.
• Conduct traffic microsimulation and multimodal analysis.
