Request for Proposals (RFP) For Health Access Program

The Connecticut Department of Public Health is seeking proposals to implement Public Act 22-118, which allocated funding to increase access to specialty medical health care and social services to low-income children and/or adults who are underinsured or uninsured in Connecticut. The selected organizations will use the allocated funds to provide specialty medical care to low-income children and/or adults with limited or no health insurance in the State. • The Department received $1,244,634 in State funding to support this effort. • The selected organizations will be responsible for providing specialty medical care to low-income children and/or adults with limited or no health insurance. • The proposal should include a plan for implementing the Public Act 22-118 and increasing access to specialty medical health care and social services. • The Department is seeking two organizations that can use these funds to provide specialty medical care.
