The South Carolina Department of Transportation is seeking a supplier to provide three (3) fully‑assembled, truck‑mounted digger‑derrick units (42‑ft, three‑stage, rear‑center mounted) on a 2025‑or‑newer Freightliner M2‑106 chassis. The contract is a fixed‑price, award‑to‑lowest‑responsive‑bid solicitation with an initial one‑year term and up‑to‑two optional one‑year renewals, for a total possible performance period of three years. The vendor must deliver each unit to the SCDOT Equipment Depot in Columbia, SC, provide one‑day on‑site training per unit, and furnish a 12‑month warranty plus lifetime structural warranty.
