Notice of Intent to Sole Source - Unloader Valve Assemblies

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), Walla Walla District (NWW), intends to award a sole source contract to Emerson Process Management Power & Water Solutions, Inc. for the replacement of governor oil pump unloader valve assemblies at the Lower Monumental Lock and Dam. The contract requires the design and delivery of retrofit kits compatible with the existing Pelton governor oil pumps and the AGC digital control system. The new unloader valves will increase the capability and efficiency of the governor oil pressure pumps and extend their useful service life by approximately 20%.
