Secure CDL ISR (SCISR) Radio

The US Navy intends to award a sole-source, firm-fixed-price contract to Rockwell Collins for the NSA certified Secure CDL ISR (SCISR) communications radio. The radio is a software-defined radio that supports high-bandwidth connectivity for imagery and full-motion video, and it complies with the MIL-STD-810G and MIL-STD-461F standards, and STANAG 7085 compliant. The purpose of this notice is to inform interested parties of the intent to award the contract and to allow them to identify their interest and capability. • The contract is for the purchase of NSA Type-1 certified BE-CDL software defined radio for integration into the Sky Tower II Airborne Network Extension Pod for the USMC MQ-9. • The radio enables proven, fully secure communication and has a small form factor, three-channel, multi-band software-defined radio. • It supports high-bandwidth connectivity for imagery and full-motion video and has low cost, size, weight and power (SWaP). • The radio has non-proprietary interfaces and high data rates (up to 45 Mbps).
