Demolition and Removal of Abandoned Communication Towers

The District School Board of Pasco County is seeking a contractor to demolish and remove abandoned communication towers on an as-needed basis. The contract will be for a period of 5 years, with the option to renew for up to 3 years. The contractor will be responsible for providing all labor, equipment, and materials necessary to complete the demolition and removal of the towers, as well as restoring the site to its original condition. The contractor must also comply with all applicable safety and environmental regulations. • The towers range in height from 60 to 140 feet and are made of concrete and galvanized steel. • The contractor must provide proof of licensing and insurance, as well as an OSHA-compliant safety plan. • The contractor must also provide references and documentation of previous experience with similar projects. • The evaluation criteria for this RFP include cost, company experience, safety program, and references.
