Description
The U.S. Air Force 509th Contracting Squadron at Whiteman AFB is seeking a quote for the purchase of a Wollard MB-2 aircraft tow tractor rear steer axle assembly. The assembly must meet the specifications of the attached Salient Characteristics dated 25 September 2025. The contractor shall deliver the assembly within 120 days after receipt of the order. The delivery location is Whiteman AFB, MO 65305.
Some key points to consider:
• The assembly must include a complete NAF Neunkirchener replacement rear steer drive axle Wollard part number 47325 for a 400MB2 model.
• The assembly must include planetary geared hubs, king pins, proximity switches, steering cylinders, and trunnion that fits a model M400.
• The assembly must include twenty 22x1.5mm wheel studs to mount wheels on the vehicle.
• The assembly must include one 1/16 trunnion model # M400 to connect the driveshaft to the axle.
• The assembly must include five wire connectors to operate the proximity switches.
