Description
The US Navy is seeking a contractor to provide technical services to conduct troubleshooting and repairs on a Low Pressure Air Plant (LPAP) Compressor #8 onboard a Ford Class Naval Ship. The contractor will be required to perform a satisfactory full load operational test on the compressor once repairs have been accomplished. The contractor must have a minimum security clearance of Confidential – Red Badge and adhere to federal and state OSHA requirements, as well as NAVSEA's safety and security protocols.
Some key points to consider include:
• The contractor must provide all necessary tools, test equipment, and personnel to accomplish the requirements.
• The contractor must maintain Level II Cleanliness on the Ship's Service Air Compressors, Air, Potable Water, and Chilled Water System Components.
• The contractor must comply with NAVSEA's badging and security requirements, including obtaining a DBIDS card.
• The contractor must provide updates via email to NNSY by 1200 on Tuesdays after each visit is complete.
