Description
The City of Pomona is soliciting bids from firms for the construction of ADA curb ramps and path of travel citywide. The project includes the repair and removal/replacement of existing sidewalk, curb, curb & gutter, driveways, alley approaches, and spandrel, as well as the installation of new sidewalk and curb ramps, and associated restoration. The project area includes specific locations throughout the city. The Engineer's Estimate for this project is $1,294,000.00. The scope of work includes all materials, equipment, tools, labor, and incidentals as required in the specifications and contract documents.
• The project is expected to be completed within 60 consecutive working days for all the base bid work and 10 consecutive working days for all the additive alternate work (if awarded).
• The bid submittal requires one file and pricing per the Line Item tab.
• The City reserves the right to reject bids that do not follow the specified format, organization, and do not have the specified required forms and/or attachments.
• The successful bidder will be required to furnish all insurance and bonds as identified in the contract documents.
• The City may award the contract to the second or third apparent lowest responsive and responsible bidder if the first bidder refuses or fails to execute the contract or provide the required submittals.
