UIFB #160325 Texas-T Guardrail System

The Virginia Department of Transportation is soliciting bids from qualified firms to furnish and deliver a Texas-T Guardrail System, including all necessary hardware. The system should include two boxing gloves and all hardware needed to install guardrail, such as bolts, washers, nuts, and splice plates. The splice plate should have 8 - 5/8' nuts tack welded to a bent sheet metal positioner. The system should be galvanized and in accordance with the attached drawings and specifications. • The Texas-T guardrail system must include 2 boxing gloves and all hardware needed to install guardrail. • The system should include bolts, washers, nuts, and splice plates. • The splice plate should have 8 - 5/8' nuts tack welded to a bent sheet metal positioner. • The system should be galvanized. • The system should be in accordance with the attached drawings and specifications.
