WWTP Gritworks Rehabilitation

The City of Richland is seeking a consultant to complete 30% engineering design for rehabilitation of the City’s existing gritworks chamber to achieve proper efficiency grit removal. The selected consultant will be responsible for reviewing the existing WWTP gritworks as-built plans, proposing rehabilitation solutions, completing 30% design plans, and assisting the City with any required permits. The City estimates the cost for this project to be between $100,000 and $150,000. • The consultant should have experience in evaluation of WWTP equipment and processes, regulatory requirements for WWTP in the State of Washington, and engineering design of wastewater treatment gritworks chambers. • The consultant should be able to provide a well-balanced team featuring breadth of expertise, appropriate mix of senior, mid-level, and junior staff, and organizational capacity to take on workload necessary for project success. • The consultant should be able to demonstrate their ability to perform the work requested within an established budget and schedule. • The consultant should be able to provide a list of similar projects with descriptions, time frame schedules, and issues that arose while preparing the project and how it was resolved.
