SYNOPSIS - LRS Shelving Replacement

The 140th Logistics Readiness Squadron at Buckley SFB in Colorado is seeking to replace its current warehouse shelving system, which has been reported as a critical safety concern. The new system should have a mechanically operated opening and closing system to improve safety and efficiency. The primary function of the shelving system is to house aircraft parts and supporting equipment for the Asset Management section. The current system is not sustainable and requires multiple members to physically push the shelves open, posing a serious physical safety risk.
