The U.S. Department of Interior (DOI), US Geological Survey (USGS) is conducting market research to identify potential sources for replacing multiple water-cooled chillers with air-cooled units at the Upper Midwest Environmental Sciences Center. The project involves removing existing chiller units and installing a new outdoor chiller system with a capacity of 160-180 tons per unit. The system should have air-cooled chillers with remote evaporators, use scroll compressors, and meet specific noise limitations and space constraints.
