26-059 RFQ St. Charles County Strategic Highway Safety Project

The St. Charles County Government is seeking consultant services for the St. Charles County Strategic Highway Safety Project. The project aims to implement strategic and systemic safety counter-measures on 11 segments of roadways in the county to reduce crashes. The consultant will be responsible for design preparation, project management, right-of-way procurement, and utility relocation. The scope of work includes tasks such as design, assistance in completing NEPA documentation, public meeting, right-of-way procurement and utility coordination, project managing, and coordination with other agencies. The consultant will also be required to develop a benefit-cost document supporting the proposed counter-measures. Some key points to consider: • The project is located in St. Charles County, Missouri, and the project improvements are on county-maintained roadways. • The consultant will be responsible for all aspects of work needed to complete the project requirements. • The county reserves the right to terminate the contract for reasons of violations by the successful proposer of any term or condition of the contract. • The consultant must possess the necessary and appropriate business and/or professional licenses in their field. • The award will be made to the firm best qualified and capable of performing the desired work, subject to successful contract negotiations.
