Description
The Town of Lee is seeking bids for bituminous concrete resurfacing. The project involves the placement of a 1.5" wearing course (overlay) over an emulsified tack-coat using MassDOT 9.5mm Superpave. All materials and installation must be performed in accordance with the Massachusetts Department of Transportation's latest Specifications for Highways and Bridges. The bid prices shall include all labor, equipment, and material for a complete in-place product.
The key requirements of this project are:
• The bidder must provide proof of their capacity to meet MassDOT Certification requirements for Pavement Surfacing for a project value of $1,083,000.00.
• The bidder must furnish a 100% performance bond for the described work.
• The bidder must comply with the minimum wage rate as per M.G.L. CH. 149 section 26 to 27F inclusive.
• The bidder must ensure that the Minority Employee Percentage Rate is no less than 5% in each class.
