Description
The Defense Logistics Agency is seeking a contractor to provide a Vertical Tilt-Frame Bandsaw (Amada VT4555M or equivalent) that meets specific requirements. The machine should have a worktable with a T-slotted work area, electrical design conforming to NFPA 79, and controls mounted conveniently for operating personnel. The equipment should include a work light, front-mounted speed control, and safety signs and labels in accordance with NEMA Z535.4. The contractor should provide twenty each (20 ea.) Eagle beak VTR, 16’4” x 1.25” x 0.42”, 3/6 tooth pitch blades. The contract requires the contractor to provide technical manuals, preservation, packaging, and packing for shipment to the ultimate destination undamaged.
