Lidar Demonstration for Wake Turbulence

The U.S. Department of Transportation is seeking a vendor to provide a Lidar demonstration for wake turbulence research. The vendor will be required to meet the requirements outlined in the Statement of Work (SOW) and provide a technical approach summary, as well as past performance documentation. The evaluation criteria will include technical factors such as technical approach and past performance, in addition to price. The contract will be awarded to the vendor that provides the best value to the Government. Key aspects of the job include: • Providing a technical approach summary that describes how the vendor will meet the requirements outlined in the SOW • Providing past performance documentation for a recent and relevant project • Meeting the requirements outlined in the SOW, including wake track parameters, scan geometry, and data re-processing tools • Providing raw Doppler spectra and processed in-plane velocity field data • Meeting the desirable features listed in Table 1-1, including unique identifier, date/time of measurement, and vortex circulation at time of measurement
