FY26 Thermoplastic Tape

The Ada County Highway District is seeking bids for thermoplastic tape of various shapes and sizes. The successful bidder will be required to provide thermoplastic tape that meets the specifications outlined in the bid document, including material requirements, quantitative and qualitative requirements, and application instructions. The bid includes 34 line items for different types of thermoplastic tape, including lines, symbols, and letters. The bidder must provide all information required in the bid and submit the bid by the deadline. The contract may be extended for up to 180 days after award, and the vendor may be required to provide on-site training as requested by ACHD. • The thermoplastic tape must be able to be applied without pre-heating the pavement to a specific temperature. • The tape must be capable of being affixed to hot mix or open graded friction asphaltic pavements or Portland cement concrete pavement using heat from a propane torch. • The tape must have re-sealing characteristics, such that it is capable of fusing with itself and with previously applied thermoplastic when heated with a torch. • The manufacturer must provide at least a one-year material warranty and on-site training as requested by ACHD. • The manufacturer must have ISO 9001, 2008 Certification for Preformed Thermoplastic.
