Description

The Jacksonville Transportation Authority (JTA) is seeking proposals from qualified firms to provide all construction services necessary to complete the St Johns River Ferry Federal Land Access Program Improvements project. The project involves improving the St Johns River Ferry, and the contractor will be responsible for completing the work within 150 days of substantial completion and 30 days of final completion. The JTA encourages participation from disadvantaged business enterprises (DBEs) and small business enterprises (SBEs). Proposers must demonstrate compliance with all requirements, including DBE/SBE participation, and provide all necessary licenses, registrations, and certifications. • The project requires a general contractor's license and compliance with FDOT work classes. • Proposers must provide documentation of their own and/or their subcontractors' prequalification in the required work classes. • The JTA reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and to cancel or postpone the solicitation. • The contract will be awarded to the responsible proposer who offers the best value to the JTA, considering factors such as price, technical proficiency, and experience.

Budget estimate

$5,000,000 – $10,000,000

The budget for this project is estimated to be around $5 million to $10 million, based on the scope of work and the requirements for the construction services. The JTA has not provided a specific budget for the project, but the estimated cost is likely to be in the range of $5 million to $10 million, considering the complexity of the project and the requirements for the contractor. Factors that may influence the likely payment range include the cost of materials, labor, and equipment, as well as the contractor's overhead and profit margins.
