The City of Presque Isle is seeking a qualified contractor to provide full‑service pavement striping for approximately 330,000 lineal feet of municipal roadways. The work must meet MUTCD and MDOT specifications, include test‑strip verification of paint thickness, and be completed by two staged deadlines (May 23 2026 for main‑street markings and June 27 2026 for all other markings). The contractor must also supply all required traffic‑control devices and manage work with minimal disruption to the public. Payments are made on a measured‑work basis at the unit rates submitted, with a $100 per day late‑performance penalty.
