Description
The City of Wilmington is seeking a qualified environmental consulting firm to provide multi‑year services for the Flemington Landfill Brownfields (now nCino Sports Park). The contract will cover routine operation, maintenance, and monitoring, annual well‑sampling and reporting, assistance with land‑use restriction compliance, and emergency response to methane‑system alarms. The selection will be based on qualifications, experience, and capacity rather than price.
• Quarterly operation, maintenance, and monitoring screening of the site’s environmental systems.
• Annual irrigation‑well sampling and analysis, plus preparation/submission of required reports to NCDEQ’s Brownfields Redevelopment Section.
• Support for the Annual Land‑Use Restriction (LURU) compliance and emergency response to methane‑system alarms.
• Additional permit‑compliance tasks as directed by the Authority Having Jurisdiction (NCDEQ and other agencies).
• Requirement to incorporate MBE/WBE participation provisions into all subcontracts.
