Description
The City of Austin is seeking a contractor to provide reinforced concrete arch pipe, tongue and groove joint, and reinforced concrete pipe sloped/mitered end sections. The contractor will be responsible for delivering products to a City-specified location within five business days of order notification. The City reserves the right to purchase products on the open market if products are not available. The contractor must have a minimum of three years of experience providing similar products and must submit proof of experience with their offer. The contract will be awarded based on overall low cost or multiple awards based on individual or categories/groups of specific line items, cost, or any criteria or combination deemed most advantageous to the City.
* Key responsibilities of the contractor include:
* Submitting literature with their solicitation response that includes detailed technical specifications on the products priced in the Price Sheet
* Providing a certificate from an independent lab of their compliance to all applicable ASTM standards
* Notifying the City in writing of any changes in delivery of products affected by backlog, strike, or any other reasonable event
* Understanding that the City reserves the right to purchase products on the open market if products are not available
