Description
The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) is seeking sources that can provide waterproof, rugged, push-to-talk LTE + WiFi Radios, headsets, radio docks, and radio holders. The radios must meet specific salient characteristics, including being rugged, waterproof, and having nationwide communication with no subscription fees. The VA is looking for sources that can provide 100 radios, 10 headsets, 6 radio docks, and 10 radio holders. The vendor shall be responsible for ensuring that vendor employees providing work on the required equipment are fully trained, completely competent, and licensed to perform the required tasks in the State of New York.
* The radios must include the device, accessories, and the entire first year of nationwide multi-carrier cellular service.
* The radios must be waterproof and rugged, with an IPX6 rating and a rechargeable lithium-ion battery with 5+ days of standby power.
* The radios must support both 1-on-1 private conversations and group broadcasting for up to 200 users at once.
* The vendor must provide operators with a user’s manual with the basic system overview and instructions for troubleshooting, daily and routine use.
