NW 45th Avenue Sidewalk (LAP 445573-1-58-01)

The City of Gainesville is seeking bids for the construction of a sidewalk on NW 45th Avenue from Black Forest Way to CW Norton Elementary School, including related incidental work. The project involves the construction of approximately 657 square yards of 4-inch thick concrete sidewalk and 131 square yards of 6-inch thick concrete sidewalk, as well as other related work such as traffic control, excavation, and landscaping. The successful bidder will be required to commence work within a specified timeframe and complete the project within 60 working days, with final completion within 45 calendar days thereafter. • The project requires the construction of a sidewalk on NW 45th Avenue from Black Forest Way to CW Norton Elementary School. • The project involves the construction of approximately 657 square yards of 4-inch thick concrete sidewalk and 131 square yards of 6-inch thick concrete sidewalk. • The project requires the bidder to have experience in construction work of the same or similar nature and to have been in formal existence and engaged in a similar type of work for not less than five years. • The bidder must be certified by the Florida Department of Transportation as qualified in accordance with Section 337.14(1), Florida Statutes and Rule 14-22, Florida Administration Code in the major work class “SIDEWALKS”.
