Pre-Qualification for Passenger Facilities Renovation and Maintenance Job Order Contract (JOC)

The Santa Clara Valley Transportation Authority (VTA) is soliciting bids for a Passenger Facility Renovation and Maintenance Job Order Contract (“JOC”). The contract will involve maintenance, repair, and minor construction of public works, including passenger facilities and infrastructure throughout the VTA system. Bidders must have construction expertise in maintenance, repair, and minor construction of public works and must possess a valid and current California Contractor’s A or B license. The contract will be awarded to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder, with a total amount not to exceed $5 million over the initial 12-month term. Key aspects of the job include: • Furnishing all labor, supervision, materials, and equipment necessary to construct the Work described in each individual Task Order • Compliance with the requirements of the Project Labor Agreement between VTA and the Santa Clara and San Benito Counties Building and Construction Trades Council • Payment of the general prevailing wage for workers employed on the Project • Submission of certified payroll records and statements of non-performance on a weekly basis
