As-Needed Material Purchase For Portland Cement Concrete

The City of Palo Alto Public Works Department is seeking bids for an up to 3-year contract for the purchase of Portland Cement Concrete (PCC) on an as-needed basis. The contract will be effective from July 1, 2026, to June 30, 2029, with an annual contract amount not to exceed $85,000 and a total not-to-exceed amount of $255,000. The PCC will be used to support construction activities performed by City crews. Bidders must submit their quotes electronically through the City's OpenGov portal by February 17, 2026, at 3:00 pm. • The contract will be for a firm fixed price for the initial term of the pricing agreement. • The City reserves the right to terminate the agreement with or without cause upon ten days' written notice. • The supplier must provide a certificate of concrete mix proportion for each load of ready-mixed PCC. • The supplier must adhere to the City's environmentally preferred purchasing requirements, including the use of recycled paper, recyclable packaging, and energy-efficient products.
